I don't think they're looking for Anons. It seems like they're looking for individuals who are willing to investigate the paranormal, and anonymity would make it a bit hard. For example, if a guy researching chaos magic or a specific ghost did so anonymously, anyone could claim to be him and give a false report if they wished so. Tripcodes and nicks seem like a good way to keep track of whose doing what and to prevent anyone from tampering with research results.

Also, I would like to join. I'll try to be at the next meeting.

I don't see why they wouldn't have you Luin. Granted most of these groups seem to have their own agenda besides the pursuit of knowledge and the working though of occult issues.

To me that would be a very good goal to have in mind. For those interested, working loosely together, helping out with questions, ideas, or doubts, and other than that, just moving forward.

I think I would join another group, given the chance myself.
