Finally got around to integrating our user data into the MediaWiki system. It's a dirty job, so if anything breaks, that can be expected. Also the theme leaves much to be desired.
Unfortunately, I can't convert our old posts from /x/enopedia because of the user database integration. We'd have conflicts, so things will have to be manually transported. Or not.

People, please don't do what Peenmaster did on the old wiki. Don't sign your name for on the article for contributions, it's a wiki. It's understandable to state the writer of a creepypasta, but not yourself for adding the damn thing.

Do we really need the "Bullshit" category on the Records? It seems like a pretty loose term, considering that most if not all the content discussed on there could be considered by /someone/ to be absolute bullshit, and if it became more frequently used (time for a Wiki drive?), it could lead to really pointless fights. It seems like the time it's most used as a category is in reference to tired memes, or creepypasta that passes itself off as real even though most /x/-veterans know it's not.
I reckon it'd be far more beneficial to just address /why/ folk think it's bullshit within the article itself, instead of having a whole seperate category for "Things that get passed around as being true but aren't and we all know this by now and grrr it makes us angry if you think it's real so don't please".
I think the bullshit category should stay for things like the grifter, splendorman, zalgo, etc. Scams and overused crap clogging up /x/ and /sanc/.

Right, but at what stage does something constitute "Bullshit"? Are Lost Episodes bullshit? What about the Holders? What about SCP? Why not Suicide Mouse and Smiledog? And why can we not just say "This is a frequently-used meme/creepypasta on /x/ that is most likely a hoax" instead of just "Bullshit"? I mean, Hands Resist Him is even in there despite it being not as well-known as the rest, ostensibly because whomever put it in that category thought "Ah, this is so fake, I can tell" - if we're going by that approach, the biggest skeptic on /x/ could put all the pages on the wiki under "Bullshit".
Even if we're coming at this from the P.o.V that the wiki is meant to chart the existence of a creepypasta rather than its content, it's still largely redundant - of course it's bullshit. It's creepypasta.

Maybe it should be changed to /b/ shit and we can leave The Grifter in there.

That could work, though The Grifter article already details at length the truth behind the creepypasta and states clearly the stigma attached to it - why bother adding it to a category with strong connotations to "This is shit"? For example, I've heard next to nothing about "Satan's Sphinx", and what little information I've got from the Records' article on it makes it sound really interesting - so why is it in Bullshit? Should there not be part of the article that justifies this? As it stands, all I know is that there's a creepypasta that hasn't been greatly expanded on yet someone somewhere thinks it's shit.
It'd be a fair bit more objective if we instead had a category that just states that it's become a meme - whether or not it's bullshit is completently subjective.

Hey, it's not my wiki, you can do what you want with it. I'm just an anon with an opinion.
I think that the Wyoming Incident should be in there along with Slenderman. Those are musts because they were made up on SA as part of games or contests. Those two at least are not legit urban legends and don't have a whole lot of good creepypasta associated with them.
What I think the wiki really needs is a good comprehensive library of creepypasta. ED has a pretty big collection in text format so that might be a good place to start.
The Wiki mysteriously reverted to default wiki settings an unknown time ago. People could not log in and the template wasn't working. Things have been put back to normal. Nothing was lost.
