Aight, here we go. I noticed you'd posted the same questions in Luin's thread as well, but I've deliberately not checked to see if she'd answeed back/what answers you gave, just to make things interesting.

The root of this issue lies in something that has already come to an end, something that's pre-established and that is (or that you feel is) unchanging and unchangeable - something that has been committed to and cannot be undone without dire consequences. You're currently operating in a system, mindset or place that is based on and predicated on that pre-established thing - it's a similar situation to having moved house, changed your ISP, sorted out your mail, introduced yourself to the neighbours, set up appointments with your local doctor, etc etc - you've settled in to something that you feel is good. However, there's some element of blind, raging, force that's upsetting - or trying to upset - that stability. Something that's divorced from the bigger picture, that's trying to change things purely to show that it CAN change them. On your side, however, there is some shelter from that - a sanctuary in which it is possible to hide yourself away from the force of change. It won't be around forever, though - just remember that it's there to protect you /now/. I think you should find some comfort in that sanctuary, at least for a little - but keep in mind that your life inside said sanctuary is just a temporary measure - it's the start of a rebalancing of your overall life, a safe place to go while the outside world is changed.

Wow, three Trumps. It looks like you had to make a tough call to get to where you are today - maybe you were being pulled in two different directions, and you weren't sure which was the right one. However, you managed to pull through and make a choice, but the choice was a kind of amalgam of both options - you've went one way, while still incorporating elements of the other. This mixture won't last forever - one way or another you're going to have to remake the choice of one over the other, instead of mixing the two - but the knowledge you've gained from being in both worlds will help you whatever the final choice turns out to be.
