What are the easiest /sorc/ related things that are easy to learn and/or do/use ?
I don't know alot of different things when it comes to occult, so i thought i might gather the easy stuff.
By easy to learn and use, i mean stuff that you can remember without taking notes after reading it 5 times, and don't require a lot of effort to be put into for it to be usefull.
eventhought the LBRP seems to be among the basic stuff (or so i've read), it is far too unpractical to use it.
the only two things i know as of now are :
Runic reading (easy to use, as long as i have my book that helps me grasp the meaning of runes)
Alchemy (because eventought the simpliest spagyric requires at least a whole month for something that's not powerfull, waiting is actually the biggest part, you don't have to do a lot of things. Though remembering earch plant for earch day can be hard, you can cut down the list to the easiest to find plants)

I suppose with the tarot they can be used while you're learning, but you won't have the same success you will with a lot of time, effort and practice. It takes awhile to be able to work intuitively with them, so there's still a time factor involved. Otherwise I guess I see where you're coming from.

The thing is about cheating death, summoning demons, and casting away monsters...it is all done in this time and day when the caster completes it. Honestly, I don't see you getting very far with this request, but I tip my hat to you if you happen to succeed.

I recently discovered that I have a few Fae "friends" that decided to hang around for a while. They don't bother me much, so I don't want to make them leave, but I am curious now. Does anyone here know something about Fae creatures, or have a link that could be useful? Any help would be appreciated.
OP should be aware that not all Fae are kindly and helpful, and when talking to them he needs to be very careful of promising them anything. They can be very tricky, and can do a lot to make your life difficult if you displease them.
OP, Fae do communicate telepathically if you cannot hear them on their frequency. If you can hear them, you'd have best luck tuning in with your right ear. As described earlier, leave them food such as honey and milk, which they love dearly, plants, and shiny things to play with and look at. As also described, not all fae are benevolent and many will go out of their way to trick you.
There are actually quite a few good books on Fae, just go to your local library and look up Faeries or Fae magic. Also:

Do not leave them clothing unless they ask for it, and do not leave them iron. They will be very offended. Most will hide things on you to play or get your attention, the easiest way to combat this is to go to the center of your room and either ask kindly or demand depending on your relationship with the fae for your items to return in a designated spots in exactly -- amount of minutes, leave the room, and then come back in...
sup /sorc/, i need your help.
Every year a major misfortune happends to me.
3 years in a row i broke my leg, 3 years in a row been to hospital, and now it's begining to happend more often than yearly.
It also seem to worsen over time.
I don't think it could be a curse, nor something that i triggered myself, since i had no knowledge in the occult.
What can i do ?
and don't say stuff like "if you stop believing in it, it stops", because it's impossible to stop thinking about something that's been hapening for almost 8 years.
Okay, OP, I'm into magic and everything, but I like to get mundane stuff out of the way first:
Are you sure that this is something occult based? Have you had a full physical work up? If you've broken bones as many times as you say you have, are you sure you don't have bone density problems, or perhaps some kinda neurological dysfunction that causes clumsiness? Get checked out by a medical professional before you assume something supernatural.
That being said, What precisely do you think might be causing your problem? You don't think it's a curse, so what do you think it is? It's difficult to suggest solutions to an unknown problem...

i don't think it's a curse either.
also, the hospital and leg breaking are unrelated, it's not the same 3 years, it's just problem that seem to be escalating, even the leg breaking got worse and worse.
but i don't think there's any "mundane" explaination behind this. There is a medical explaination for breaking my leg twice, but for the remaining time, it is however, unrelated to it.
so out of six years, there's only two that can be explained, well maybe 3 because one hospitalisation is leg-related, but the two other aren't.
so no, i don't have any explaination, hence i seek /sanc/'s help, because there's a chance that you guys might know similar stuff.
i was going to type "i don't remember of any occurences before", but i just did, though, they weren't significant enough that i remembered them at my first post.
it goes as far as when i was 2, but i can't be sure that i did get harmed every year. of course, out of 22 years, there's only about 7years that i'm not sure that something...
i don't know any spells that specifically call for it, but I like to sit in front of my incense, and focus my desire into it, charging it. And then I keep the ashes and use them to enhance a spell i do later for that purpose.
Ok I am seriously a skeptic when it comes to most things. But like most skeptics (or at least I believe that most skeptics think like I do) I really want to be proven wrong, see things I can't explain at all. I don't mean to be a nitpicking dick, but I don't think it's as selective as you think at all. It's the idea that this is a special group in which only certain people can be allowed in that keeps more people from experimenting with it and makes it easier for others to dismiss it.
Many people here may have had mentors, but many of us have also started into it and done what we've done by ourselves. I think the idea that you need someone to guide you or initiate you is going to be a stumbling block in your search for truth (or, at the very least, an interesting experience). It's going to limit you severely to a> finding someone who is willing to take you under their wing and b> that specific someone's point of view.
I think it would be far more conducive to experience to do most of it on your own. Yes, seek others who are willing to help and learn from them, but don't expect them to initiate you into everything and to share with you all the secrets and abilities you're hoping for. It's not going to work that way. One...
So, I'm new to /sanc/. I'm also a beginner mage. I'm looking for a system of magic to suit me. I worship Yahweh and Lilith, if that helps. The most I've done is summon a familiar, and made a psiball. I would suggest that your first spell not be something quite so advanced. Direct alteration of natural forces is of a qualitatively higher level (http://sanctuary.datchan.org/sorc/res/758.html#766), and you'll likely have a much better chance of success with something like a love spell, money spell, etc.
Start off small, work your way up. It's far less disappointing that way as well, and your expectations can grow with your ability, rather than the other way around.
hi /sanc/. I'm looking for good introductory books on meditation and chakras. I've spent the last two hours attempting to sort through the massive amount of fluff literature on the subject and am somewhat exasperated, so recommendations are very appreciated.

or at least, not in laboratory alchemy, maybe in spiritual alchemy, but i know little of spiritual alchemy.
However, i do use a little of geometry (though unrelated to the anime).
But i can't express it in a few .
Most of the alchemy's work is based on either the vegetal or mineral realm. It follows the 'path' of the 3 principles and 7 days/planetes (also metals and etc) and the 7 operations (Distillation, Digestion, Exctraction, Sublimation, Circulation, Calcination and Solatation&coagulation)
but i am trying to search something new, in the animal realm, based on the 2(chemical wedding) and 5 (quintesence)
with a bit of numerology and a lot of speculation you get this:
speculation part:
2*5 = 10
5*5 = 25 = 5^2
uncategorized part:
1 was always associated with god (at least in the christian culture)
here's the numerology part : half a sphere is the female side, a horizontal bar is the male side, a vertical bar is the union and a diagonal bar is the transition, while a circle is the wholeness.
eventhough zero don't seem to change something in math :
(example : 5+0 = 5)
it can add some precision and make things seem more perfect : (example 5,0 being more precise than 5)
The intresting thing is that those thought came to me at night, over several night in a very natural way, without me having to think too hard about it, what do /sorc/ think it could be due to ?
